TV Programmer

Key Responsibilities: - Curate and schedule TV programming for cruise ships, ensuring a diverse and engaging selection of shows and movies - Monitor and maintain the TV broadcast equipment, ensuring high-quality and uninterrupted service - Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with the TV equipment - Collaborate with other departments to ensure the TV programming aligns with overall guest experience and company goals - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for new and exciting programming options - Manage and maintain relationships with TV providers and negotiate contracts as needed - Train and supervise junior TV staff members, providing guidance and support as needed Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years experience in TV programming, preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry - Strong knowledge of TV broadcasting equipment and technical troubleshooting skills - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proven experience in managing and supervising a team - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
