Senior Project Manager

Connect Energy partners with an energy company to look for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER to join the corporate team for their upcoming projects. Responsibilities Reports to Project Director as a single point accountability for delivery of assigned projects As Owner's representative, managing all contractors to ensure projects are executed in line with company's and contract HSSE, quality, technical integrity, operability, cost and schedule objectives, including initiating and enforcing any corrective measures to improve performance Maintain and delivering the highest standards of safety and environmental performance both in design and construction in alignment with company's policy and expectations Ensuring that projects comply with all applicable laws, regulations, codes and standards Approving, monitoring and controlling contractor execution of quality assurance and control plans and procedures Establishing, maintaining and ensuring use of appropriate project controls and metrics for recording and reporting project progress and cost performance Providing accurate and comprehensive project progress reports in written form to company's management and presenting project status to senior management and board members Managing all interfaces between the EPC contractor and other relevant stakeholders, particularly the Operations team and third parties, including other contractors, utility providers, government authorities, consultants etc Proactive identification, mitigation and management of all project technical, cost and schedule and reputational risks Developing appropriate resourcing plans for Owners management of all projects and recruitment / acquiring or demobilizing as necessary all required resources Managing and coordinating all activities of the Owner's project management team Provide leadership, coaching and development of all reports Establishing and maintaining a positive, proactive working environment that encourages team working in a spirit of openness, honesty and integrity Requirements Min. 15 years project and construction experience and 5 years as project manager for execution of substantial SGD250 million projects in the oil and gas industry Strong commitment to the achievement of excellence in HSSE performance Experience in LNG or cryogenic processes world be an advantage Good leadership and track record of managing complex tasks in team context Excellent planning, organizational, budgeting, forecasting, cost and schedule control and risk management skills Good understanding of all engineering disciplines, procurement practices and construction drivers with ability to make considered judgements to manage conflicts between them to deliver best project outcomes Excellent communications and influencing skills, both upwards to all level of management, authorities and other external stakeholders, towards his/her team to motivate and align them with project goals. Understanding of management of change processes and their orle in managing technical integrity Ability to remain composed under pressure Ability to address and diplomatically resolve interpersonal conflict Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
