Senior Staff Software Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer based in India. This is a senior engineering role focused on building and evolving a sophisticated media intelligence platform and its supporting systems. You’ll work across backend and frontend development, primarily using Ruby on Rails and VueJS. The role combines hands-on software engineering with architectural design, technical problem-solving, and delivery leadership. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, customers, and fellow engineers to turn complex requirements into scalable solutions. AI-assisted development tools will be part of the workflow, with an emphasis on responsible use, code quality, security, and testing. You’ll contribute throughout the full software lifecycle, from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
