Payment Analyst Senior Executive

WE ARE HIRING: Senior Executive – Payment Analyst Work Mode: On-site Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka Employment Type: Full-time Company Industry: FinTech / Digital Payments & Financial Services Role Overview The Payment Analyst will support high-volume global payment operations by monitoring transactions, performing reconciliations, resolving issues, and improving payment efficiency. The role ensures accurate, timely, and secure pay-ins and payouts while supporting compliance, risk controls, and operational stability. Key Responsibilities Monitor daily payment transactions across multiple channels (cards, wallets, RTP, ACH, etc.). Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Analyze transaction data to identify failures, trends, and anomalies. Handle payment exceptions, delays, chargebacks, and coordinate resolutions. Support fraud monitoring and basic risk analysis. Assist in improving payment processes, automation, and reporting. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, Compliance, and Customer Support teams. Qualifications & Experience Educational Qualifications Bachelors degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Experience Executive Level: Fresh graduates or early-career professionals with strong analytical or data skills are encouraged to apply. Senior Executive Level: Minimum 3+ years of experience in payments, finance operations, financial analysis, or data analysis. Skills & Knowledge Good understanding of digital payment systems and workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets. Familiarity with SQL, BI tools (Power BI / Tableau), or automation concepts is an advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
