Supplier Relationship Manager (MRO / Indirect Procurement) with German

For our client - a global company operating in the industrial materials and chemicals sector - we are looking for an experienced Supplier Relationship Manager with a strong background in MRO / Indirect Procurement and fluent German & English. This role is critical in driving cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and value creation through effective sourcing strategies and stakeholder engagement across our European and Asia Pacific sites. Offer Stable employment based on a full-time contract Work in a modern, comfortable office in Poznań Hybrid work model - 3 days in the office per week Benefits package, including flexible working hours, private medical care, social insurance, and language course subsidies Opportunity to work on international projects Contribution to strategic procurement initiatives in a dynamic industrial environment Daily tasks: - Managing and developing supplier relationships across MRO and technical indirect categories (spare parts, maintenance services, PPE, tools, consumables, facility services) - Driving sourcing initiatives focused on cost optimization, quality and supply continuity - Leading supplier selection, negotiations and contract management - Building and developing long-term supplier relationships - Analyzing spend and identifying optimization opportunities - Collaborating with engineering, maintenance and operations teams - Monitoring market trends and supply risks within technical categories - Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and standards 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement Strong understanding of indirect categories such as MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations), PPE, tools, consumables, and facility services Fluency in German and English - both used on a daily basis Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management experience Proven track record of delivering savings and commercial value Experience working with technical categories (e.g. spare parts, maintenance services, consumables) Proficiency in procurement tools (e.g. SAP, Ariba) Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders in an international environment Must have: Indirect procurement, MRO, Maintenance, Repair, Operation, PPE, Negotiation skills, Supplier relationship management, SAP, Ariba, Stakeholder management
