Outsystems Developer

Job Type: Permanent Build a brilliant future with Hiscox Role Overview The OutSystems Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting business applications within the OutSystems Centre of Excellence. The role focuses on delivering high-quality low-code solutions aligned to engineering standards. About You You are a collaborative and delivery-focused engineer with OutSystems experience and a passion for learning new technologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities • Design, build and deploy OutSystems applications • Implement business requirements and enhancements • Develop integrations using REST APIs • Support testing, troubleshooting and defect resolution • Follow SDLC, governance and security standards • Contribute to reusable components and technical documentation • Participate in knowledge sharing and community activities • Support application maintenance and continuous improvement Essential Skills & Experience • Experience with OutSystems O11 and/or ODC • Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices • Understanding of APIs and integration concepts • Database and data modelling knowledge • Agile and DevOps awareness • Strong collaboration and communication skills Desirable Skills • OutSystems Associate Certification • Azure exposure • Experience in enterprise environments Why Hiscox? 35-hour working week with hybrid working model 27 days annual leave plus Hiscox Days Private health insurance Gym allowance Pension plan One month paid sabbatical after 5 years Learning and career development opportunities Work with amazing people and be part of a unique culture
