About project: We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our client's data team on an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, with a strong possibility of extension. Daily tasks: - Developing, testing, and documenting dbt models - Maintaining and further developing Airflow and Airbyte - Ensuring data pipeline quality, reliability, and availability - Monitoring, debugging, and continuously improving the stability of data workflows - Migrating and optimising existing data models - Working closely with data and analytics teams Your profile: Hands-on experience with Python scripting for data ingestion and automation Strong SQL skills and experience with data processing and transformation Experience working with Snowflake and modern cloud data warehouses Understanding of database architecture, data modelling and database design Good understanding of data transformation techniques and principles Experience building and maintaining data pipelines Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Git-based workflows Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB Experience working with cloud environments, preferably AWS Familiarity with modern data integration tools, preferably Estuary Experience with GitLab and version control Experience using AI-assisted development tools, preferably Claude Code Must have: Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Airflow, Airbyte, AI, Cloud, Claude, Python, Data warehouses, Data pipelines, Git, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL Nice to have: GitLab
