The Senior Software Technical Analyst will be a key contributor for CDT Automation and Robotics team in the development of software solutions across the organization. This position is responsible for setting up framework and standards to ensure cohesive, comprehensive and successful development and implementation of software solutions. The position provides leadership, coaching and mentoring to junior and Software Technical Analysts in the team. The incumbent provides highly complex, advanced development techniques, configuration, testing, training, deployment and preliminary support of solutions in accordance with end-user needs. The role interfaces with both technology and business operations team in the effective monitoring and maintenance that would improve the over-all business services of the company.
Position Responsibilities:
Design and deliver, or lead the design and delivery of, software solutions across multiple businesses, teams, departments
Develop best practices of application development tools to deliver software solutions
Help train or support the training of best practices, standards, framework to other agile focused teams participating in software solutions development
Participate with teams in analyzing, or lead analysis of, process requirements, design solutions, architecture and logic
Develop and assure documentation according to company standards, best practices and standard operating procedures
When needed, support, debug, and break fix any issues with software solution
Contribute to the professional services knowledge base to help create a repository of best practices; clearly document all team engagements and work delivered
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Strong knowledge on SDLC / Agile Methodology
Strong technical background with a passion for L3 Support and enthusiasm for working in a great team
Willingness to learn complex applications and unique data
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
Strong Academic record or strong related internship /Co-op/Work experience
Time management skills and the ability to simultaneously work on multiple deliverables
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Must be organized
Tools/Technical/Process Specific Knowledge or Skills:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience
Power Platform
Windows or Mac Operating System Environment.
Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
Development or Scripting Software
BPMN or Workflow Modeling Applications
Project Management Applications
Preferred training and/or experience: Relevant development training or experience with a solid understanding of programming concepts
Familiarity/Experience with RPA tools (Automation Anywhere, ProcessRobot, WinAutomation, Blue Prism) highly preferred
Working knowledge and experience in any programming language JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, XML and Web Services
HTML 5 and CSS3 and Responsive Web Design
MS-SQL Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers and Functions
Java, PHP, C#, or Visual Basic
