Senior Accountant (Financial Planning & Analysis)

We're Hiring | Senior Accountant (Financial Planning & Analysis) Department: Finance Location: Cairo, Egypt At iSec , we are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant with strong accounting expertise and analytical skills. This role is designed for professionals who aspire to grow beyond traditional accounting responsibilities and build a long-term career in financial planning, business analysis, and finance leadership. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Manage the General Ledger, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month/year-end closing. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controls. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities. Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow plans. Analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to management. Prepare financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reports to support business decisions. Participate in business planning, financial analysis, and evaluating business opportunities. Support the development and improvement of accounting policies, financial procedures, and internal controls. Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and continuous process improvement. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5–7 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Financial Analysis, Cash Flow Management, Taxation, and Internal Controls. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications CMA, CPA, IFRS Diploma, or equivalent professional certification. Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and management reporting.
