Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director, the Business Data Analyst gathers, analyzes, and interprets business data to generate actionable insights that support organizational decision-making and strategic planning. The position collaborates with CARTS data analytics teams to apply data analysis techniques, improve business performance, and inform the development of current and future analytics tools and processes.
Job Responsibilities:
30% - Collaborate with CARTS data analytics teams and stakeholders to support the development, enhancement, and use of data-driven tools and resources.
15% -Assist with Louisiana crash analysis tools, programs, and processes.
• Provide technical knowledge and recommendations related to existing and future tools developed by CARTS.
15% - Develop, modify, and maintain code as needed to support CARTS operations and analytical initiatives.
• Create and execute database queries to support data analysis, reporting, and the ongoing functionality of CARTS systems
10% -Document analytical methodologies, processes, assumptions, and results to promote consistency, transparency, and repeatability in reporting.
10% - Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
10% - Monitor and evaluate business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend actionable solutions.
10% - Conduct trend analyses and forecasting using historical data to assess and predict future business outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education Level: Master's degree in Analytics or closely related business field
