Software Security Technical Delivery Lead

Our environment is polyglot ( Java, Python, Node.js, and React ) and we need a hands-on Technical Delivery Lead with experience not only in delivery management but also in DevSecOps practices, security compliance, and scalable architecture . In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery orchestration , ensuring security is baked into delivery pipelines, risks are assessed early, and open-source adoption is driven in a strategic, cost-effective manner. What you get in return Flexible cooperation model Hybrid work setup – 6 days per month from the office Collaborative team culture – work alongside experienced professionals eager to share knowledge Continuous development – access to training platforms and growth opportunities Comprehensive benefits – including Interpolska Health Care, Multisport card, Warta Insurance, and more High quality equipment – laptop and essential software provided Daily tasks: - Technical Orchestration: Translate business objectives into technical execution plans, identify architectural risks and manage technical debt. - DevSecOps Leadership: Embed security-first standards into delivery, ensuring automation, compliance and risk mitigation at all stages. - Operational Excellence: Manage daily engineering workflows—remove blockers, monitor sprint health, drive effective retrospectives and standups. - Hands-on Support: Perform code reviews, debug Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), troubleshoot production issues when necessary. - Open Source Advocacy: Assess and guide the replacement of proprietary systems with robust open-source solutions. Strong engineering background: 10+ years in software development, with recent hands-on experience in at least two of: Java, Python, Node.js, Go . Expertise in GCP services : GKE, Cloud Run, Identity-Aware Proxy, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL). Proven track record in leading cross-functional squads (Frontend, Backend, SRE) using Agile methodologies. Stakeholder management: Handle dependencies across related initiatives while managing delivery priorities. Practical DevSecOps experience : managing secrets (KMS), implementing container security, compliance-as-code. Data-driven approach: Leveraging DORA metrics (deployment frequency, lead time for changes) for continuous improvement. Nice to have: FinTech or Security background (operating in regulated environments). GCP cost optimization and capacity planning experience. Broad problem-solving mindset with holistic architecture vision.
