II-Engineer to M/S Eckerö Link

Jobs on the Horizon- Welcome to Eckerö Link! Eckerö Group has recently expanded its fleet with a new vessel, M/S Eckerö Link (formerly Nautica ). The vessel is scheduled to enter service later this winter. We are currently seeking a Second Engineer to join us on M/S Eckerö Link . This is a permanent position starting immediately or as agreed. M/S Eckerö Link will sail under the Swedish flag and operate daily between Långnäs (Åland) and Naantali (Finland). The work rotation follows a 2:3 schedule. The official working and safety language onboard is English , while skills in Finnish and Swedish are considered an advantage. Who are you? We’re seeking an engineer with: -Relevant professional experience and qualifications -Strong leadership qualities -A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high safety and environmental standards onboard As a Second Engineer , you’ll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ship’s machinery and auxiliary systems, ensuring they meet all current safety and environmental requirements. A solid overall knowledge of the vessel’s technical systems is essential. Minimum requirement for the position is a valid a Watchkeeping Engineer certificate (STCW III/1) . Higher-level certificates of competence are considered an advantage.
