Job Description for Fixed Voice Platform Test Engineer in Sydney need more of a fixed person with experience in Ribbon fixed switches Please try to search for candidates who worked at Ribbon communications or Sonus networks Key words from JD are testing of Sonus/Ribbon Session Border Controller (SBC), Sonus/Ribbon PSX and GSC, Ribbon C20; experience working on SIP Protocols and testing SIP voice connecting to PABX ; experience working using Probes & Analysers and signal generators like - Tektronix Iris (probe solution) & Niometrics (probe solution) · 6 to 12 years of Industry experience with Telecom background and knowledge. · Bachelors degree (or higher) in Engineering/ Computer Science / Information Technology / Telecommunications · Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in fixed or core mobile network manual / automation testing as test engineer with Lab testing exposure. · Comprehensive understanding of internet protocols in data, voice and video suites. · Experience in design, deployment or testing of Sonus/Ribbon Session Border Controller (SBC), Sonus/Ribbon PSX and GSC, Ribbon C20 · Hands -on experience working on SIP Protocols and testing SIP voice connecting to PABX · Hands -on experience working using Probes & Analysers and signal generators like - Tektronix Iris (probe solution) & Niometrics (probe solution) · Ability to understand and assess requirements and processes, problem solving attitude. · Very good understanding of Software testing lifecycle, process and methodologies and experienced test engineer with innate ability to identify and resolve issues/defects. · Ability to transfer knowledge to team members and communicate well both orally and in writing
