Senior Cloud & Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Required skills: Kubernetes, Amazon AWS, Terraform, Python, GCP, Hashicorp Vault, Prometheus Senior Cloud & Kubernetes Engineer Warsaw | Hybrid: 3 days in the office | Permanent employment contract (Umowa o Pracę) We are supporting a global investment company in hiring a Senior Cloud & Kubernetes Engineer for its international Infrastructure & Platform team. This is not a DevOps role focused mainly on pipelines. You will have real ownership of cloud and Kubernetes architecture , work on business-critical production systems and independently lead complex infrastructure projects . What you will do Design and operate highly available AWS and GCP environments Build, secure and manage Kubernetes platforms Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation and Python, Go or another programming language Develop self-service solutions for engineering teams Integrate public cloud with on-premise infrastructure Improve reliability, observability, networking and security Support production systems and participate in an on-call rotation What we are looking for Strong hands-on expertise in cloud or Kubernetes - ideally both Experience building or improving complex production platforms Practical knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, security, networking and cluster management Strong Terraform or CloudFormation experience Good understanding of Linux, networking and cloud security Programming skills relevant to infrastructure automation Ability to independently lead projects and explain technical decisions Strong English communication skills (English C1) Additional advantages include HashiCorp Vault, Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible, service mesh, hybrid cloud, FinOps and experience in financial services or another demanding production environment.
