Compliance Manager

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our Legal and Compliance team and own regulatory compliance and licensing across the Group and its group entities, including the Group’s in-house live studio, which is currently in development and not yet operational. This is a Group-wide role, working closely with the Head of Legal, responsible for ensuring that the Group’s gaming operations, software certifications, and licenses remain compliant with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements across every jurisdiction in which the Group operates. Reporting to the Head of Legal and working closely together, the Compliance Manager will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of gaming licenses and certifications, monitor regulatory developments, and design and implement policies and controls that keep the business compliant as it grows. Beyond Legal, they will work closely with Product, Technology, Finance and HR - and, once established, the Studio team - to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance the business can act on. This role also covers data protection compliance and, where applicable, anti-money laundering (AML) matters, making it a strong fit for a candidate with a broad regulatory skill set and the ability to take ownership of complex compliance matters while working closely with the Head of Legal across multiple jurisdictions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the end-to-end process of obtaining and maintaining the Group’s gaming licenses and certifications, including preparing and collating licensing submissions, forms, and supporting exhibits for filing in coordination with the Head of Legal. Maintain accurate records and systems for tracking the Group’s licenses, registrations, and certifications held across all jurisdictions. Lead certification of the Group’s slot games and gaming systems (e.g., RNG, technical, and testing-lab certifications) required for market entry and ongoing compliance. Lead compliance readiness for the Group’s planned in-house live studio - currently in development and not yet operational - including securing the certifications that will apply to live studio games and the licenses and policies that will apply to live studio operations, ahead of its planned launch. Act as a point of contact and relationship manager with regulatory authorities, licensing bodies, and testing labs, working closely with the Head of Legal on the Group’s key regulatory relationships. Monitor gambling, gaming and other relevant regulatory and legislative changes across all jurisdictions in which the Group operates, and report implications and recommended actions to the Head of Legal and relevant stakeholders. Own the compliance policy lifecycle - drafting, approvals in coordination with the Head of Legal, rollout, training/communications, and periodic review - to embed consistent controls across the Group. Support and help build the Group’s data protection compliance framework (GDPR and other applicable regimes), including policies, records of processing activities, data subject rights, and retention rules. Support AML-related monitoring and controls where applicable, and help develop related policies and procedures. Coordinate ISMS/ISO 27001 governance and stakeholder reporting – identifying regulatory and contractual information-security requirements and helping align ISMS policies and controls with gaming, privacy, AML, and licensing obligations – working closely with the CTO. Support ISO 27001 readiness and internal/external audits from a compliance and regulatory perspective, including evidence gathering, corrective-action tracking, and management reporting, while leaving ownership of information-security risk assessments, control reviews, and ISMS operation to the CTO. Help assess security incidents for regulatory reporting implications, in coordination with Technology. Support Responsible Gaming compliance, including monitoring adherence to Responsible Gaming license conditions and regulatory requirements, coordinating Responsible Gaming policy updates and staff training with Product and Legal, and tracking related regulatory reporting obligations. Manage due diligence for new and existing partners, suppliers, and operators, including intake, evidence collection, risk assessment, approval, recordkeeping and renewal. Provide compliance advisory support across departments - Legal, Product, Technology, Finance and HR, and, once established, Studio - translating regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance. Manage compliance incident response, including investigation, documentation, and resolution, and support internal and external audits. Prepare compliance training and awareness materials across the Group, in close coordination with the Head of Legal. Report regularly to the Head of Legal on compliance status, regulatory risk, and licensing matters Group-wide. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification - required. 4+ years of professional experience in a compliance, regulatory, or legal role, ideally within iGaming, gambling, or another highly regulated, fast-paced industry. Strong, practical knowledge of gaming/gambling regulatory frameworks, licensing processes, and certification requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Practical knowledge of GDPR and data protection law. Familiarity with AML/CFT frameworks; an AML qualification (e.g., ICA) is considered a strong advantage. Demonstrated experience drafting and implementing compliance policies, controls, and governance frameworks, ideally from the ground up. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to advise both operational teams and senior leadership. Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple regulatory workstreams and tight deadlines across jurisdictions. Ability to work self-sufficiently and take ownership of assigned tasks. Professional working proficiency in English; Georgian language skills are an advantage. Professional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or ICA are a bonus.
