We are seeking a driven Product Owner to push the boundaries of payments into the future. As a leader in the product at Beam, you will oversee the end-to-end product delivery, research & development, and iteration to ensure they meet the markets needs and preferences. About this job Title: Product Owner Location: Wireless road Compensation: To be discussed based on experience, with equity option What youll be doing Lead product plan for Beam to meet the companys objectives & product delivery goals Build a strong technical understanding of Beams products, features and services, how its built, works and solves problems for our customers Develop a solid understanding of shoppers and merchants needs through qualitative and quantitative data points, to identify product gaps and continuously deliver new ideas to push boundaries Gather, analyze and share user feedback to understand customer needs and pain points Derive product ideas into user stories, prototypes and requirements Communicate and align with all members across relevant teams, including managing launches with all relevant team members and stakeholders Work with relevant design and engineering teams to deliver in a timely manner products/features with optimal resources A hands-on, supportive team member in addressing issues that arise with product launches Evaluate plans from other teams to ensure alignment with overall product strategy Manage the product backlog and prioritize them based on evolving requirements Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process Create and maintain product roadmaps and release schedules Oversee the backlog of improvements and defects, defining the requirements and acceptance criteria Developing user stories and defining acceptance criteria Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field At least 3 years of experience in a product owner, or product management Strong understanding of technology development Strong understanding of good product development principles for early-stage startups Strong market research skills Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills Strong cross-functional team communication skills Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize work well to meet objectives Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle Proficient in English Its great if you have Worked at an early-stage startup or a startup-like project in a larger company Entrepreneurial business and design knowledge Built and managed team Benefits Remuneration and Beam ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program) Health insurance and social security E-learning subsidies and a brand new laptop Activities budget, outing, dinner & many other goodies!
