QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Middle QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Paphos, Cyprus. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle, with a strong focus on test automation. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to build reliable automated testing processes and support high-quality product releases. Your responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test cases and test scripts Executing automated and manual testing when required Testing software functionality, usability, performance, and overall quality Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and providing clear and detailed bug reports Taking ownership of QA activities before new functionality is released to production Contributing to test strategies, test plans, and QA methodologies throughout the SDLC Developing and improving automation frameworks, tools, and testing approaches Performing regression testing and supporting release validation Working closely with developers and product teams to identify quality risks at an early stage Continuously analyzing QA processes and suggesting improvements Requirements: 2+ years of commercial experience in Software Quality Assurance Strong hands-on experience with automated testing Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Defect Life Cycle Experience with regression, functional, and integration testing Understanding of Agile development methodologies Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills English — Upper-Intermediate / B2+ or higher Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant field Location & working format 📍 Paphos, Cyprus 🏢 Office-based position Candidates should have the legal right to work in Cyprus / appropriate work authorization What we offer Competitive salary based on interview results, performance-based bonus scheme, Provident Fund Scheme, up to 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, 5 paid sick days, continuous professional development and on-the-job training, parental and postpartum support programs, modern centrally located office, free coffee, fruits and refreshments, and a friendly international team.
