HR Operations Manager

HR Operations Manager permament role £37,000-£40,777, Manchester HR Operations Manager We're recruiting an experienced HR Operations Manager to join our client within the education sector. This is a varied, hands-on HR role where you'll act as the lead HR contact for a portfolio of schools, working closely with Headteachers and senior leaders to provide practical, commercially minded HR advice and support. You'll manage a broad range of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability, sickness absence, probation and conduct , coaching managers through both informal and formal processes. The role will also include: Providing day-to-day HR advice on employment law, policies and terms & conditions Supporting recruitment and safer recruitment processes Managing attendance and Occupational Health processes Supporting organisational change and consultation Monitoring HR compliance and workforce information Producing and interpreting HR data and reports Managing and supporting HR Administrators to ensure an efficient and responsive HR service About you We're looking for an experienced generalist HR professional who is confident managing ER casework and advising managers at all levels. You'll have a good working knowledge of UK employment law, strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Ideally you'll be CIPD Level 5 qualified, part-qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent experience . Previous education-sector experience would be useful but is not essential . This role has a designated base but involves regular planned travel between schools within the allocated portfolio, with approved travel expenses reimbursed.
