Senior Accountant / Accountant US - Manufacturing

The Management Accountant is responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency within the manufacturing environment. This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance analysis, ensuring that financial data is used effectively to drive business outcomes. The Role Financial Planning & Analysis - preparation, monitoring and analysis of budgets, analysis of financial performance, scenario analysis for strategic initiatives Cost Accounting & Control - maintain standard and actual costs and variance analysis, optimise cost structures through collaboration with production/operations teams, monitor and report on cost drivers and profitability metrics Business Performance Reporting - Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs, regular and ad hoc management reports, support continuous improvement initiatives with financial data. Inventory & Production Analysis - analysis of inventory movements, stock valuations, and production efficiency, analysis of waste, inefficiency and cost saving opportunities Compliance & Internal Controls - adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal control, support audit processes The person Professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CA) is preferred Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of experience in management accounting, preferably in manufacturing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures and processes. Self motivated with a go getter attitude Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel. Ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders. Attention to detail and strategic thinking.
