WE ARE HIRING : Maintenance & Project Engineer – Civil Location: Sri Lanka Employment Type: Contract Basis ( 3 years ) Company Industry: Banking & Finance Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Project Engineer – Civil to oversee civil maintenance, renovation, design, and construction-related activities for corporate buildings. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, project execution, contractor coordination, safety compliance, and providing technical guidance to management. Key Responsibilities Identify and execute preventive maintenance works for existing buildings Ensure scheduled repair and maintenance works are delivered as planned Oversee repair and maintenance activities to meet quality and safety standards Ensure continuous maintenance services through contractor agreement renewals Handle contractor payments accurately and on time, including retention payments Optimize resources for timely and cost-effective task delivery Provide technical inputs and expert recommendations to management Support renovation, design, and construction-related building projects Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree specialized in Civil Engineering Minimum 10+ years of experience after degree completion in maintenance, renovation, design, and construction of buildings Preferred Qualifications Chartered Civil Engineer qualification from IESL Degree / Diploma in Project Management, Energy Management, Facilities Management, or Green Rating Systems Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of building maintenance and civil engineering Experience in interior designing and project management Budget allocation and cost management skills Procurement management skills Leadership, agility, and communication skills Change management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Ready to take your career to new heights?
