Senior Building Services Engineer (Hotels & Hospitality Projects) 18 month Fixed Term Contract - Germany

About the role We're looking for an experienced Building Services Engineer to support hotel development, conversion and opening projects across Germany and Northern Europe. Working across a diverse portfolio, you'll help ensure our hotels meet engineering, safety and operational standards from design through to opening Your day to day Brief design teams on our brand standard requirements for Engineering & Safety Systems design & operational requirements. Lead engineering and brand safety reviews across the hotels lifecycles. Assess designs, technical submissions, and construction progress against IHG standards. Drive the resolution of engineering and safety-related issues. Partner with owners, operators, consultants, and project teams across Europe. Support hotel openings by ensuring compliance, safety, and operational readiness. What we need from you Degree qualified in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical & Fire Safety Systems / Infrastructure. Understanding of the regulatory requirements for all building infrastructure to be designed and installed to comply with local / national codes. A minimum of 5 years post graduation experience of working within a Building Services Engineering, Design Consultancy. Strong knowledge of the design and operations of HVAC, electrical / mechanical / sanitary systems, fire protection, and life safety systems. Experience reviewing technical designs and solving engineering challenges. Fluent English essential. German or another European language is a plus. Your ambition. Your growth.
